panels across the window.

open to the left and/or right. |
|
| NUMBER OF TIERS |
| A One Tier shutter
unit extends from the bottom of the opening to the top without a
break. "Café Type" shutters are always One Tier. A Divider rail
is a horizontal bar (rail) within a panel that creates top and bottom
louver sections. It looks like the top rail and allows each section
of louvers to rotate independently. See the Definitions page for
a picture. A Two Tier unit has one set of shutters on the
top and one on the bottom. Each tier of shutters opens independently
of the other. |
|
| DIVISION POINT |
If "Number of Tiers"
entry is:
"One tier without a divider rail": Enter "None."
"Single tier with a divider rail": The distance from the
bottom of the window opening to the center of the divider rail.*
"Two tiers": The distance from the bottom of the window opening
to the break between tiers.*
*The actual location may be higher or lower as much as 1/2 of the
louver spacing. |
